Every child should be guided on a path that leads to success. Through promoting integrated learning we incorporate centers and activities where children can explore, express and experience who they truly are. We invite our little miracles to experience the classroom with no limitations placed on opportunities to learn. Outdoor play is encouraged, allowing children to engage socially with their peers while discovering new things and themselves and the world around them. Children never stop learning, so an environment that stimulated the mind is our focus.
Infant Care
Ages birth - 12 months: Children are considered a tabula rasa "clean slate" at this stage of life, so our focus is to offer a safe and nurturing environment that will allow them to grow and learn positively. Babies are completely dependent on adults to meet their needs. Therefore, in our childcare program, they will be cared for by warm, positive individuals who are sensitive and can respond affectionately to them. When working with infants, we provide a predictable environment, consistent caregiving, and a teach my baby curriculum that stimulates the senses and mind.
Toddler Care
Ages 1 - 3 years: These mini miracles are learning to manage and control impulses while using both motor and mental skills. To help children develop a healthy balance we consider handling toilet training needs and their growing curiosity for the need to explore the environment around them. Toddlers have a budding curiosity which means high energy, so our daily activities and curriculum include plenty of time for active movement and flexibility to engage energy and mood. We target each developmental area while building fine and gross motor skills through fun engaging activities.
Preschool Care
Ages 3 - 5 years: At this stage of life learning through play and adult interaction matters to help our little ones obtain a clear idea as to what is socially acceptable and what is not. They are attempting to understand what is the purpose of the things that are taking place around them. To support children's development we encourage them to be as independent as possible, focus on gains and attempts rather than mistakes, set expectations aligned with each child's individual abilities, and focus the curriculum on realistic things while doing instead of simply listening.
School Age Care
Ages 5 - 12 years: This is a child's most enthusiastic time for learning since they are trying to adapt to people, rules, and relationships. We encourage children to feel adequate while gaining a sense of belonging through positive interactions. Children begin to think about being a bigger person by identifying with adults whom they admire and trust to express themselves freely. Understanding this, we strive to display positive behaviors that can be adopted. To promote their developmental growth, we discover each child's top 3 multiple intelligence areas to determine the best way they will retain the curriculum introduced.
After School Care
All ages: Life can be demanding with the responsibilities of work and other tasks at hand, overlapping with the time you may be available to pick up your little one from school. We provide after-school services that include pick up if your child/children are located within 15 minutes of our location. Upon arrival, all children will be provided with homework assistance and a meal or snack dependent upon the time they attend.
Summer Care
All ages: Children look forward to the summer months when they have a break from school and can enjoy the outdoor environment with their peers. The adults and assistants at our program are ready to have fun too. We aim to provide fun-filled days in our huge outdoor play area that is currently equipped with slides for all ages, swings, a soccer net, a basketball hoop, a water table, and an outdoor eating area for picnics. Trips, arts & crafts, and other special activities are planned for weekly enjoyment and lasting memories.
Emergency Drop-In
All ages: Circumstances and situations occur that can sometimes leave parents/guardians scrambling to find care for their children at the last minute. Keeping the needs of all parents in mind and understanding that everyone needs a helping hand sometimes, we provide a solution that tailors to a majority of needs. Whether your child has a snow day at school, or you are just in need of a self-care day, we are here for you.
